We%26#39;re thinking of planning a trip to Corsica in early July, probably staying in the Calvi area. This will be our 4th visit to Corsica, but the others have all been at the very beginning and end of the season (May and Oct). I was wondering how different we would find Calvi in high season? Does it become very crowded?

Like you we have only visited Calvi low season (June/Sept/Oct), however a contributor to the Corsica forum called w62 went to Calvi early July last year and found it relatively quiet. I think the season really hots up from 14 July to around 28 August, and I suspect Calvi must be very busy then with French %26amp; Italian visitors.
