Eurostar

How far our can you book Eurostar Paris/London/Paris on line? I%26#39;m trying unsuccessfully to get info for February %26#39;08. Would fares be less during the off season or are they the same year round?

Four months (120 days, actually).

But from the Eurostar site (UK) you can get them to email you a reminder about booking on the day you need.

Remember: you can only book 120 days before the full journey, i.e. if returning then you have to wait til 120 days before that date. I%26#39;m booking a journey that returns about 24 Sept but can%26#39;t do it for another 10 days yet.

Forgot to say, there are a limited number of low fares all year, but they go quickly for the good train times. As long as you book 120 days out you will get the best gare available.

I also heard a rumor that booking thru RailEurope you can do it earlier, but I didn%26#39;t try that.

Definitely buy your tickets through the Eurostar site - it will work out cheaper than going through a broker.

If you select the US Eurostar site as your %26#39;home%26#39; one you can book tickets much further out than 4 months - I can%26#39;r recall but I think it%26#39;s bw. 6 %26amp; 8 months out. If your browser is not pointing to the US site, just delete any Eurostar cookies before starting again.

Prices will vary depending on time of year, the day of the week and the time on the day.

The one thing that holds true for all bookings is to book as soon as possible to take advantage of cheaper prices (they will increase as you get closer to your travel date.

Have fun, mez.

%26gt;February %26#39;08. Would fares be less during the off season

For connections between major cities, February is anything but a %26quot;low season%26quot;, at least during the week.

Don´t forget that most people travelling on any given moment are, just like in USA, NOT tourists.
