Has anyone stayed here recently? I understand that it is extremly expensive, but well worth it. Can anyone help me decide between HOTEL COSTES and Relais Christine. Are the two areas the same or different?

Yes. The two hotels are in diverse areas: Costes in the Louvre located 1st district and Relais Christine is in the 6th district of antique shops and famous cafes.
Both hotels, if you read the descriptions, are highly diverse also. It depends on what type of atmosphere you want. Costes is known for its see and be seen bar and the hotel%26#39;s staff from what I read is haughty. Relais Christine is a small boutique hotel itself but more down to earth although quite expensive in its own right too. I can%26#39;t afford to stay at either one, but if I had a choice I%26#39;d choose the Relais Christine in one of their more spacious rooms.
