We are looking to book to go to Paris in November but have no idea about which area we would like to stay in do not want it to noisy and modern but near enough to see the sights.Your help would be very helpful as i have never been to France before.

Recently returned from Paris. I stayed at the Hotel Nepoleon, a half a block from the Arc. Read my and other reviews on this web site under hotel reviews. It was a great hotel, and great location.

We prefer the 7th. I know it is very quiet but we like that after a long day of walking the streets.
