Dimanche!

Does anyone have suggestions of what to do on a Sunday in Paris?

|||

Walk, walk, walk! It%26#39;s a great time for people watching, etc. Also, most if not all museums are open so a good time to hit the lesser known ones.

|||

just about anything. Most places (except the big shops) will be open anyway

|||

Versailles?

|||

Will the bigger museums be really packed with tourists on a Sunday or are they fairly quiet? Such as Louvre or Orsay?

Thanks.

If you type %26quot;What to do on Sunday%26quot; in the seach box above you will find many threads such as this one:

Deb, the museums on Sundays are usually packed with the tourists.

Thanks,

We%26#39;ll avoid the museums and walk around Marais and enjoy everyday life.

The Marais!

All of the shops are open and it%26#39;s lively on Sunday%26#39;s!

Musee Monet Marmottan

this museum is not on the Museum Pass but if you are an Impressionist %26quot;lover%26quot; then this is a don%26#39;t miss.

I used my museum pass on Friday and Saturday planning on visiting Marmottan on Sunday.

Lovely gift shop, bought several presents for Christmas (LOL and they think I didn%26#39;t buy them anything) and a poster of one of my favorites. The Seine at Giverny.

It was not crowded, no cameras allowed.

had a little difficulty finding but was well worth the walk and had a couple of memorable experiences on the walk.

Don%26#39;t do anything other than walk around, drink coffee on the pavement and soak up the atmosphere. I%26#39;d avoid going inside anywhere on a Sunday unless it is cold and wet. Maybe the Sacre Coeur if the organist is playing as that is very moving when plenty of people are there. Make sure you bag your lunch table early!
