We have one hour ten minutes this Saturday from arriving into Paris Gare du Nord on the eurostar to get to Paris Montparnasse for a connecting SNCF to Bordeaux.
Is this possible on the Metro and if so what is the best route or are we better getting a taxi?
Any help appreciated!

I think a taxi is likely your best bet.
You can take the #4 line in the direction of Porte d%26#39;Orleans directly from the Gare du Nord, but it%26#39;s 14 stops, which is a little scary given your short time window.
Or you can take the RER B train from Gare du Nord to Denfert-Rochereau, which is 5 stops, and connect to the #4 line in the direction of Porte de Clignancourt, and get off 3 stops later.
Neither train option looks like a sure thing to me.

If you had 2 hours I would say train no problem, but with only and hour taxi is your best bet. I would not risk it.
Hope this helps.

Yes it%26#39;s possible on the Metro/RER but I agree with the taxi recommendations. Take a taxi.

Don%26#39;t do this. The connection to the %26quot;Grande Ligne%26quot; trains at Gare Montparnasse are more than a kilometer of underground walking and stairs away from the Metro Line 4 platforms. This is hard work and time-consuming. Don%26#39;t risk it.
