Switching Seats of Thalys

Hello,

This may be a silly question but here it goes. My girlfriend and I will be traveling to Europe in 2 weeks. One leg of the trip involves taking a Thalys from Paris to Amsterdam. We booked our tickets through RailEurope and have only just noticed we are seated in the same row, but not next to each other. Any suggestions on how to fix this? Anything that can be done before hand or will we just have to hope people will be willing to switch once we get there?

Thanks.

If youre seated in the same row it is unlikely you will not be seated next to each other. If this is the case, though, just ask the person between you of tyhe would like to shift

The numbering scheme of the Thalys seats can be a bit complicated - have you checked the drawings on the Thalys website?

If your seat numbers are, like, 35 and 37 or 42 and 44, you ARE sitting next to each other. Odd numbers on one side of the aisle, even numbers on the other side.

Thanks for the replies. I did base the original post of the diagrams from the Thalys website. We%26#39;re in Coach 17, Seats number 38 and 35. So it%26#39;s the two window seats in the same row.
