Need to book TGV July?

We will be traveling from Paris to Avignon at the end of July, returning 1st week August.

Do we need to book seats (4) in advance, and is there a cost advantage in doing so?

Yes, the earlier you book - up to 90 days, the better the prices.

If I were a party of four, traveling in July, I would not wait until the last minute. The earlier the better.
