RWC France 2007

I%26#39;m in the process of starting to plan a family holiday around the Rugby World Cup in France in 2007. It will be our first trip to Europe for 2 adults %26amp; a 5 yr old. The final is in St-Denis in mid October %26amp; we aren%26#39;t sure if 2 mths is enough time to see alt as we have to come a long way. Any suggestions about what order to travel etc?

Hi melismeow

I assume you will be following australia on their games? If so they are at Lyon, Cardiff, Montpellier, Bordeaux, Marseilles and Paris

We are going but will be following the All Blacks.

We have the same problem - one week in south of france, next week in UK. We have decioded to lease a car and then fly the leg to UK and back.

Anyway your posting was a long time back so maybe you are more advanced - let us know how you are going - we may meet in Paris on Sat 13 Oct in the semi-final!

Have you had any luck booking accommodation in the area for that time? I tried Expedia but no luck.

We are also going for the Wallaby pool games (not certain about quarters %26amp; semis....). We have some kiwi friends in Cairns with a young family who are also going. Happy to put you in touch with them.

How are you travelling from Lyon to Cardiff %26amp; back to France? We%26#39;re still deciding what is the best option.

Any comments %26amp; advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg %26amp; Dianne.

All Blacks game is in Toulouse then Cardiff then Paris - so we are going across on the st malo or le havre to southampton ferry and then the chunnel on the way back
