Avignon TGV to hotel.

Travelling to Avignon from Lille next Wednesday and staying at Grand Hotel Avignon. I understand the shuttle bus stops near this hotel, but just how near? Anyone know?

Your hotel is directly behind the Centre Ville train station. If you arrive into the Avignon TGV station, you will take the shuttle from there to the Centre Ville station. That is where the shuttle goes, back and forth to and from each train station.

The shuttle will cost you 2.20 euros.

Once you get off the shuttle, as long as you head in the right direction, it shouldn%26#39;t take you more than five minutes to walk to your hotel.

You can check it out on this website. You will have to cut and paste the link.

Okay, the link was too long and T/A wouldn%26#39;t let it through.

Go to:

www.mappy.fr

In the section on the top left, under Itineraire, enter location being

gare centre ville the postal code is 84000

then below enter the address of your hotel

34 Boulevard Saint Roch again same postal code 84000

then hit okay and it will bring up a map. At the top of the map, you will see a clickable icon called %26quot;hotels%26quot; click on that and all the hotels around the address you put in (your hotel%26#39;s address) will come up. Pass your mouse over the numbers and the hotel names will show up. Your hotel is the closest number to the centre ville.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks a lot, Toutou. It worked OK and was very helpful.

I%26#39;m glad as it is easy once you understand how the website works, but I had a hard time trying to properly explain it.
