CDG Terminal 2A to 2F

Hi, we are a family of four - 2 adults and 2 children, ages 11 and 5, arriving in Paris CDG terminal 2A later this week. We arrive at 8 10 am and have a connecting flight at 9 35 am from Terminal 2F. Could someone advice us the best way to go from 2A to 2F? Is it walking or bus? This is our first time in CDG and we do not speak French. We are somewhat worried about missing our connection. Our luggage will be checked through [we don%26#39;t have to collect at CDG]. Any suggestions/help will be highly appreciated, many thanks.

You can walk from 2A to 2F (we%26#39;ve done it a couple of times). Just walk past all the checkin counters and keep walking. But -- if this is an air connection, there are internal connections and directions that you can follow and there should be English speaking personnel to assist. The sign for a connection is %26quot;correspondence.%26quot; Also, your flight attendant before you get off the plane may be able to give some help.

Hi,

We have one and a half hours connection between 2F and 2C and helpful people on this forum have to some extent reassured me that it can be done. Still. I am packing essentials in carry on bags and in the worst case scenario am prepared for an overnight stay at a hotel at CDG. The airport map is slightly confusing as it is in seperate bits, so you cant read it as a whole, but I have printed it out together with the very helpful advise from people on this forum.

Good luck.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. Fingers crossed!

If you are making the connection through one airline (same company, or a partner) you might try calling them. Even if not, they should be able to give you some information.

We are travelling air france partners city jet from the UK and transferring to air france flight to Mauritius. They say we should make it, but as Arajagopal says, fingers crossed!

Thankyou and best wishes

My husband, daughter and I had a connection to make from 2D to 2A. It probably took us less than 10 minutes to walk from D to A. We did have to collect our luggage which you don%26#39;t. Anyway, the following website was very helpful for me in figuring out CDG.

Hope it helps.

The transfer from CDG #2-A to #2-F is fairly simple and straightforward and you should have sufficient time to make the transfer with checked-trough baggage...but 75 minutes really does not allow you much time to dawdle (%26quot;..you should have gone on the plane..%26quot;) along the way.

If there is a %26#39;..trick...%26#39; to this it is to remain within the security-controlled %26#39;..IN TRANSIT..%26#39; areas of the terminals to avoid unnecessary airport security checks and delays and to ask a flight attendant (don%26#39;t wait until the final approach when they are usually very busy) or arrival gate agent to point you in the direction of the %26#39;..CORRESPONDANCE-TRANSFER..%26#39; desk near your CDG inbound arrival gate (or simply follow the CORRESPONDANCE-TRANSFER signage). From here you can get exact directions to your outbound flight%26#39;s departure gate at #2-F.

Thanks for the website link. Much more helpful than the officia site and lots of useful information. Makes it much easier.
