Hotels

Has anyone stayed at the Hotel la fiancee du pirate? In VSM?

I was going to stay at the Darse (but no room), the the Versailles (but all of the reviews are bad). I can%26#39;t find any comment on the HlFdP. Would love to hear if anyone knows!!

And how far would it be from the beach. Big walk?

The address is Villefranche but it is about two kms distance from the village at the top of a big hill. The Provencal or Riviera are reasonable value.

Thanks LondonBob

I got lucky!! The Darse got back to me and I got a spot ... changing rooms part way through the stay ... which doesn%26#39;t worry me.

Appreciate you following up. the HlFdP sounds like too much of a walk to me.

Warm regards

My wife and I just stayed there two days ago for two days. No complaints at all. But you%26#39;ll need a car since it is located along the Moyenne Corniche, not in the old town area and it is a steep walk up from the town.

The owners (Laurence and Eric) are extremely pleasant and helpful. The room we stayed in (No. 7) is very nice and comfortable. I assume the others are of similar quality. You can have breakfast in the terrace and you have a magnificent view of the bay.

Had a most relaxing and pleasant stay at the hotel. Only regret is that we did not stay there longer.

If your main aim is to go to the beach (and you don%26#39;t have a car), choose another closer hotel. But otherwise this is an excellent valeu for the price.
