Paris taxis , how many people

We are a party of 4 and fly into Paris Orly airport.

We want to take a taxi to the hotel.

I was told, taxis in Paris only take up to 3 people .

Is that true ?

There a some larger taxis. The drivers at the airports are very good about sorting out the arrangements as to who needs a large one. Don%26#39;t worry.

You could book an airport shuttle transfer either in a shared van or just for your group depending on your budget. The price would be fixed and wouldn%26#39;t depend on how bad the traffic happens to be and you wouldn%26#39;t have to wait in a queue at the taxi rank.

We never had a taxi driver refuse the four of us ....one late teen daughter sat in front seat and the three of us sat in the back seat.

With luggage, unless it%26#39;s minimal, they%26#39;ll probably need a bigger taxi.

It is a hit or miss w/ the taxi situation...we were a party of 4 which included 2 teens. We were refused on at least 3 occasions. Several of the drivers that did take us had to quickly clear the front seat so my husband could sit up front. Another time we waited in line at the train station for a taxi to take us back to the 7th from Monmarte and several refused us because we didn%26#39;t have luggage.

Just got back from Paris:four people travelling with lots of luggage. Never had a problem finding a minivan at CDG taxi stand or taxi stands in Paris that wouldn%26#39;t take all of us and our luggage(plenty of space in the minivans for everyone/everything).

How much were the mini van taxis for mCDG airport to city centre. The apartment that we rented is offering a pick up service for 90 euro for 4 of us. I am wondering if it is worth doing this in advance or we can easily find a mini van taxi at the airport?
