We are arriving in Nice at 12:30pm and need to get to St Raphael. There are buses that leave at 12:30 and 3:45 and we obviously will miss the 12:30 and after already flying for 12 hours I hate to sit and wait for over 3 hours to take a hour bus ride to our destination.
Can anypne offer any other suggestions? There has to be some other form of way to get there that won%26#39;t cost a bundle....
Thanks

Why not take the train?
Nice Gare Ville CSCF - St Raphael:
14:10 ter all stations arrives 15:35
15:32 TGV (reservation reqd) arrive 16:25 stops Antibes, Cannes and St Raphel direct
15:54 depart weekdays ter 16:00 depart weekends
16:10 TGV arrives 17:02
and so on.
Sure its a little pricier than the bus, but the train is time in return for money

Hi Kelmani
There is the train option, but you%26#39;ll all have to get to the train station in Nice first via bus or cab.
Depending on how far away you are from your destination once you get to St Raph station, you may then need to get another taxi.
Where are you going exactly? How many of you are there? When are you travelling into Nice?
Alternatively, you could simply hire a car at the airport, and then it%26#39;s a 45 minute drive to Saint Raphael. If you fancy doing that, I recommend you copy and paste the following link into your browser as it searches all the usual car hire companies in one go, and gets you the best rates:

Thanks to both of you. I have thought about the train but was wondering about getting from the airport to the train station, is it difficult? It will be myself and two teenagers and a%26quot; bit of luggage%26quot;. This is the first leg of an 9 week vacation so as much as I will be trying to pack light it will be tough to not have a few pieces.
If we are stuck for the 3 1/2 hours at the airport what is there to do?!
Thanks

If you mean Nice airport and train station, no problem, there is an express coach for 4 euro which links the two - route 99, takes tweny minutes.
Whats to do at the airport for three and a half hours? Absolutely nothing. The place is deadly.

NiceLife- Thats what I was afraid of, a boring airport.... I%26#39;m looking into changing our flights to get in earler and be able to catch the 12:30 bus, if not It will have to be the train.
I%26#39;m assuming I will need to prebook now?
Thanks

Coaches from the airport - booking should not be necessary - there is a bus ticket kiosk at both T1 and T2, but its more usual to just pay the driver on boarding.
T2 is the newest and most boring. T1 - the older terminus,- has a little more facilities but its neither are like London Gatwick or Heathrow, which are basically shopping malls with food courts which happen to fly planes as a sideline
Good luck!

NIceLife- Couple more questions if you don%26#39;t mind.
Someone said that the bus service is about 22 euros per person each way? Does that sound about right? Seemed like a lot to me for a bus.....
On SNCF there are train tickets less than that for the three of us but none of the options available to print them at home.
What are the chances of a decent price for train tickets if I just show up and buy at the time we are leaving?
Thanks so much

22 euro for the bus sounds about right - its a fair old distance - probably about an hour, perhaps a little less. I would expect the bus to go via the motorway, which is a toll road. I paid around thirty something to coach to Marseilles.
Rail tickets are a standard price - French marketing is about qualifying discounts for example student, pensioner, ex-combattant. I haven%26#39;t seen any %26quot;outlets%26quot; sell anything cheaper on online. Its a case of turn up, buy and go. Just allow a good time for purchase - railway stations are notorious for long slow moving queues
