What to do in Paris?

We are going to Paris for 1 week at the start of June, staying in Le Marais district. We would like to visit all the usual sights like the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre, as well as venture out of the city to EuroDisney and the Palace of Versailles. Can anyone suggest the best way to get around in Paris, and also the best way to travel out to EuroDisney and Versailles? If you had any tips on things to do or places to visit, that would also be most welcome!

Since you%26#39;re staying in Le Marais----be sure to walk to Place des Vosges. It%26#39;s a lovely sight! Also, I enjoyed the Carnavalet Museum. I%26#39;m not sure where your hotel is, but you may be able to walk down to Notre Dame Cathedral, St. Chapelle, etc. As for getting around--take the Metro. I%26#39;ll be there the beginning of June--also staying in Le Marais! Can%26#39;t wait!!!

Go to Giverny!!!!!! From Saint Lazare metro take the RER train heading to Rouen and get off at Vernon. You won%26#39;t be sorry! Make sure you go to Monet%26#39;s gardens and visist the %26quot;secret%26quot; rose garden behind the Hotel Baudy.

Versailles and Disney are easy to do on your own by train. Cheaper then any tours also. I know where I caught the train to Versailles( Invalids station) BUT I don%26#39;t know which station is closest to you, I just asked at the desk of our hotel. Disney trains( Marne something or other) I believe leave out of only certain stations, and I can%26#39;t remember which ones, I suggest you just type in %26quot;Disney%26quot; into the search box of this site, and read the many many posts here. Many posters have offered excellant directions( sorry I am not one of them LOL) but I don%26#39;t want you to get discouraged,, there is alot of info available for you here!

Good Luck and have fun!
