Marriott I'le de France transportation

I am going to the Marriott I%26#39;le de France near Disneyland Paris in June. I wasn%26#39;t planning to rent a car because we don%26#39;t drive manual and automatic cars are very expensive to rent. Are there taxis readily available at the Marriott and at the RER/TGV station at Marne la Vallee?

Thanks.

Taxis at the station no problem and I am sure the concierge at the Mariott will call you cabs. There are also shuttle busses that run between the park and the hotel.

Just returned yesterday, Taxis are from 11 to 15 euro from Marriott to Disneyland France. We waited up to 50 mins for one at the Marriott. They are lined up at Disney by the train station. There are buses that run back and forth but after a certain time in the day they only run from the main road (5 min walk). Also the food at the store on site is expensive, walk to the champoin market about (7-8 mins) and buy your food here. Good Luck with the French Attitiude, there is no translation for the words good service at any of the Dinsey Village restaurants.

Thanks for your replies.

StewartPhilly - did you eat at any of the restaurants at Val d%26quot;Europe or in the parks? If so, was the service level the same there?

Thanks.

From the airport, just take the TGV ot the train station in Marne la Vallee, and then take the shuttle bus to the resort. You really don%26#39;t have to rent a car unless you want to go to the countryside. You can also take the RER to go to Paris everyday. Taking RER may actually save time to go to Paris Center by avoiding the horrible traffics. Bon Voyage!
