13e ?

Is the 13th a good place to stay? I am renting an apartment there for the month of June. If you know any good restaurants there let us know. Thanks

It%26#39;s very residential, it%26#39;s not touristy at all. It%26#39;s where most of Paris%26#39;s Asian population lives, so you will have more than enough Vietnamese and Chinese places to choose from. It will make you feel like a local.

Yes , I stay there when I am staying long term also. I usually stay near Place d%26#39;Italie ( metro is right there).

The Commerical mall Place d%26#39;Italie has a huge Champion grocery store with everything you will need.... the Mall is huge. There are many places to eat around . Ave de Choisy has many great Chinese dining establishments. I love Tritcotin for a wonderful Dim Sum. Also there are many Italian and French places to dine. Geante is a hugeSpanish grocery store that has wonderful selections.

I usually take the metro and the bus to all the major sites. Have fun!

Thanks for the info. My guide book doesn%26#39;t cover the 13th cause there isn%26#39;t any major sites there. We plan on using the metro mostly. We live in NYC so we are used to it. Do you have any links to any good websites on paris? I%26#39;m always looking for more. Thanks
