My husband, our son, our nephew and myself are driving from Girona to Provence. I%26#39;ve found ttwo guest houses in Vezenobres that accomodate us easily and in our price range. Is this far from Avignon or Aix? We want to be flexible and jaunt around.
We are at that discouraged part of the planning.
ANy help woudl be appreciated.

My husband and I are traveling with our 17 year old daughter throughout Provence. We%26#39;ve chosen to stay in three different guesthouses starting near Avignon and ending up in Vence outside Nice. I suggest you pick one or two questhouses or B%26amp;B%26#39;s that offer a %26quot;family room.%26quot; This is usually a suite of two rooms that share a bathroom and is more economical than two bedrooms with baths.
If you stay near Avignon, then you can get just about anywhere in Provence within an hour%26#39;s dirive. This would be easier than going different places each night. Try websearch for chambres d%26#39;hote or the site, www.fleursdusoleil.com which has many lovely, small and inexpensive B%26amp;Bs. Many of them offer the family suites I mentioned.
