Hi there,
We are flying into CDG really late on Friday night (around 23-23h30) and are wondering if it%26#39;s possbile to get a Carte Orange that late. Will there be a place open/person there which we can purchase it from?
Also, if I buy Zones 1 and 2, does this includes the ticket from CDG to the center and back (RER?) or do I need to ask for this in addtion. €16, yes?
Thanks a million,
Gab

You can buy a C.O. at CDG at the RER stations.
You need a 5-zone C.O. to use it on the RER from CDG to Paris; otherwise a zone 1-2 C.O. is good for Paris. In that case, you%26#39;d need the 8E (roughly) ticket for RER, CDG to Paris, one way. That same ticket allows a transfer on the metro or bus, as long as you do not exit the underground.
Remember you need a small headshot photo for the C.O. id card.
The last 4 trains from CDG-1 leave at:
23:05, 23:21, 23:40, 23:58
The last 4 trains from CDG-2 leave at:
23:03, 23:19, 23:38, 23:56

travelnutty,
thanks much for replying so quickly! Do you know, if i purchase 5 zones, it is more economical to purchase that or to purchase zones 1 and 2, but to buy the RER tickets separately?
Thanks alot,
Gab

It depends on where you%26#39;re going.
The 5-zone C.O. is roughly 31E. The 2-zone is 16E. Two tickets to / from CDG on the RER are 16E. So that part comes out about the same.
However, the C.O. is valid specifically Monday-Sunday. If you aren%26#39;t returning to CDG by Sunday, then it would be better to buy the 2-zone C.O. + the r/t RER tickets.

duh, I just realized you stated you%26#39;re arriving on a Friday. The C.O. won%26#39;t do you any good for Friday into Paris - that week%26#39;s C.O. was sold thru Wed and the pass you can buy on Friday isn%26#39;t usable until Monday. So question answered itself!
You need to buy your RER tickets into Paris, then you can buy a 2-zone C.O. for your sightseeing.
Will you have time to clear immigration/baggage/customs in time to go to the RER station, buy the tickets and catch the train? Note the times I gave you.
