Hi.

The Negresco faces the sea so you wont have far to go! The Old Town is about a fifteen/20 minute walk straight along the promenade from your hotel. The market is on every day (flowers, food)antiques on a Monday. I always eat in the Old Town so I dont know about restaurants with a sea view. I am sure someone else can help you there. You are not far from the pedestrain area either for shops. From the airport you can catch the no. 98 bus at stand 5 for 4 euros which will drop you outside or near enough to your hotel. You must taste the lavender icecream while you are there too! Hope this helps a bit.

For a restaurant with a sea view, Jounis is hard to beat:

or the beach restaurants at Castel Plage, Beau Rivage and the Blue Beach
