Is there a facility for storing luggage during one day at Austerlitz? We will be leaving a rented apartment early in the day and taking an overnight train to Barcelona. We need to store the luggage until the train leaves in the evening.

I am not familiar with storage at Austerlitz. However, I noticed there was NO security presence at the Austerlitz train station the night we took a train. We recently took an 9:00 p.m. overnight train from that station to Nice at Easter. While we slept, there were room break-ins during the night, Yep, a guy was entering couchettes during the night with a KEY looking for things to steal. So, be aware of the possibility. Sleep with your wallet/credit cards and passport!
