Shipping Wine Back Home

With the restrictions on carry-on liquids, it is no longer possible to bring a couple bottles of wine back with us. Is it worthwhile to ship a case back or is the shipping just too expensive? We live in Florida. Thanks.

We just returned from Provence, we tasted at Cave du Verger in Chateauneuf du Pape and had a case shipped back home, no problem at all. Once the wine has reached the US, a customs broker will send you an email with the duty charges (which for us were around $40). Once you pay them they will send shipment on to you.
