Hotels close to the Westin Trianon Palace?

Greetings all,

Already posted this in the Paris Forum but thought I%26#39;d give it a go here as well.

Could anybody advise me regarding decent accomodation as close as possible to the Westin Trianon Palace and Spa in Versailles? I need to be there on business but the Trianon is fully booked for the dates I need.

The only thing close (well, the only thing, for that matter) that%26#39;s even remotely comparable is the Sofitel...and I stress the word %26quot;remotely%26quot;. But it will be comfortable, and it%26#39;s just a 10 (maybe a slow 15) minute walk from the TP. If you want something more quaint, but in a completely different class and 1/5 of the price of TP, you might contact Le Cheval Rouge. I%26#39;ve stayed at the CR once before, and will stay there again for 3 days in October.

Sofitel fully booked as well.

Found the last available room in a hotel that - at least as far as I can tell from their webpage - looks nice. Person I spoke to on the phone was very friendly.

Hotel “le Versailles”

7 rue sainte Anne

Will report back on it when I return.
