Palais de la mediterranee or Beau Rivage? Help!

Hello!

I am staying with my husband for three nights in Nice in July and we are torn between the Palais de la Mediterrannee and the Beau Rivage. Could you help us choose???

We are also looking to spend three more nights somewhere quiter. We quite like the Domaine Cocagne and the Villa St Maxime. The first is in Cagnes-sur-Mer and the second in St Paul de Vence. There are raving reviews for the Villa St Maxime but no comments at all for Domaine Cocagne. I would really appreciate any info you could give us.

Thank you all in adavnce!

Beau Rivage is austerely modernist and a lot of people have not taken to the %26quot;design%26quot; - Palais de Med is traditionally art-deco French - I would choose it every time.

Cagnes sur mer is really neither one thing nor the other - a modern commercial town. St Paul is very pretty as long as you are prepared for the daily descent of locust tour coaches.
